How to clean and maintain the hat
Pay attention to the maintenance and storage of hats. After the hat is taken off, don't put it casually. It should be hung on the coat hanger or clothes hook. Don't press heavy objects on it to avoid deformation. If the cap is worn for a long time, the inside and outside of the cap will be stained with grease and dirt, and it should be washed off in time. The cap lining can be removed and cleaned, and then stretched to prevent the sweat on the lining from getting damp and moldy and affecting the service life of the hat.
Brush the dust on your hat often. The sludge and oil dirt adhered to the cap surface can be gently washed with a soft brush dipped in hot soapy water, and then washed with clean water. When washing the hat, you can find a round pot or porcelain basin of the same size as the hat, and wear the hat on it to wash again, so as to avoid losing shape.
When collecting the hat: brush off the dust, wash away the dirt, bask in the sun for a while, then wrap it with paper, put it in the hat box, store it in a ventilated and dry place, and put desiccant inside the storage box to prevent moisture.
The removal and cleaning of hats is special. There are those that can't be soaked in water (such as feathers, sequins, or caps with lining paper). If the hat is made of cotton, it can be washed. If the hat is padded with paper, the hat can only be wiped but not washed. Because it is a three-dimensional shape, it is taboo to use a washing machine.
The correct washing method for general hats is as follows:
1. If there is any ornament on the hat, it should be removed first.
2. The cap should be soaked in water and neutral detergent.
3. Brush gently with a soft brush.
4. Fold the hat into four pieces, gently shake off the water, do not use the washing machine for dehydration.
5. The inner sweat band part (the part in contact with the head ring) should be brushed several times to thoroughly clean the sweat dirt and bacteria. Of course, if you choose the antibacterial and deodorant material? Then this step will be omitted.
6. Spread out the hat, put the old towel inside, put it flat and dry in the shade, do not hang it to dry in the sun.
The correct washing method for special hats is as follows:
1. The leather cap can be cleaned by slicing onion slices, or by wiping with a cloth dipped in gasoline.
2. After washing knitwear hats, it is best to fill them with crumpled paper and cloth balls, and then dry them.
3. The stains on the fine felt cap can be cleaned with a mixture of ammonia and equal amount of alcohol. Dip a piece of silk cloth into the mixture and then scrub it. Don't make the hat too wet, or it will get out of shape.
4. Wool hat, do not wash, because wool will shrink. If the hat is stained with dust or pet hair shaving, you can use wide tape and fold it on your fingers to remove the dust on the surface. Wool hat does not need to be cleaned every time, on the contrary, it is easy to shorten the service life. If it is necessary to clean it, dry cleaning is the most appropriate way.
