1. look at the label

2. see varieties
Many well-known films have not yet been released on DVD in China, such as the Lord of the rings series, Star Wars series, godfather series, Forrest Gump, Brokeback Mountain, six people's walk, 24 hours, etc., so if you see these films in a website or shop, you can basically conclude that they are selling pirated movies.
3. see the version
In general, large Xinhua bookstores will not sell pirated copies, while the copyright agreement of genuine editions is usually unique. 4. see the manufacturer

5. look at the price
The main cost of a genuine copy is in the copyright fee. Therefore, the price of a D5 may vary greatly from manufacturer to manufacturer. It is normal that a D5 can be as cheap as 5 yuan, and it is normal that the price of D9 is more than 20 yuan. On the contrary, if a seller sells all kinds of D5 at the same price and D9 sells at the same price, it can be concluded that it is not a genuine one, because the price system of genuine edition is totally different.
6. hot code is iron evidence
Genuine edition never hot code (the so-called hot code is deliberately hot the SID code left by the production line of the inner ring of the disc), because there is no fear of tracing the source of production in the genuine edition, which is quite different from the popular hot code of piracy. However, not all genuine discs have a visible code on the inner ring.
7. see the material
Cross regional collage of materials is a popular practice in the piracy industry. For example, there is no such concept in the original version, such as the pictures in France 2 + subtitles in Hong Kong 3, pictures in the United States 1 + national equipment in 6 districts, etc. the concept of piracy is not found in the original version. Therefore, it can be concluded that it is pirated when you see such flaunting. For TV series, as long as you can see the words of HDTV on the screen, you don't have to think about it. 8. packaging can't be trusted
Copyright piracy has nothing to do with the exquisite packaging. If you don't see that the package is very beautiful, you can think of it as genuine. The main cost of a genuine copy is the copyright fee, but piracy does not have this cost. So at the same price, piracy can do a good job in packaging. Similarly, those old films that have become public editions, such as Kurosawa series, old European classics, etc., are not There are copyright fees or very low copyright fees. The genuine copy is sold for 5 yuan a piece, which is cheaper than many pirated copies.
9. picture quality chuck is not the basis
CD is a digital technology, piracy will not reduce the image quality because of copying. Similarly, as long as a good disk base is used, it will not be jammed. Therefore, image quality and chuck can not be used as the basis for judging the authenticity. The image quality mainly depends on the quality of the film source. The quality of a digital DVD (which scans the film frame by frame, and then combines the static pictures into dynamic video, commonly known as the disc version), can make a new film, but it adopts the technology of glue to magnetic (which is made by directly converting dynamic light and shadow with digital camera equipment, commonly known as film version, shadow plate or analog version), but it is not It's a gun belt, gun belt is a pirated patent).
The production cost of the digital version is two orders of magnitude higher than that of the film version. Therefore, most of the domestic low-cost films and even the Hong Kong and Taiwan films are produced by the film to magnetic DVD. Piracy will never scan the film itself to make a digital DVD. It will only use the digital film source that has been made by the original. Therefore, it is not clear whether the pirated film is genuine or not.
10. there are also compressed discs in the original edition
Hdvd, commonly known as "compact disc" or "economical DVD", can be played on ordinary DVD players. The medium is DVD, and MPEG-1 or MPEG-2 encoding is adopted. With low bit stream, each disc can hold up to 7 hours of programs (i.e. 8-10 episodes of TV Series). The picture quality is slightly higher than or equal to VCD, and there is a big gap compared with the conventional DVD. Many genuine manufacturers began to launch compressed discs in the second half of 2004, and the popularity is gradually becoming more and more popular. While audiences in developed countries enjoy the high-definition video with 1280 × 720 resolution, Chinese people are still intoxicated with 320 × 240 VCD level compressed discs.
What needs to be emphasized is: no matter MPEG-1 or MPEG-2 coding is adopted, once the bit stream is lower than the normal VCD stream (i.e. video 1.15mb/s), the image quality will be greatly reduced immediately, which is not worth seeing. This is why a large number of D9 compact discs (one disk can hold more than 20 sets) have poor image quality. Generally speaking, D5 can hold 7 hours and D9 can hold 13 hours.
